IBLA is a Tunisian journal of human and social sciences born in 1937. First designed and written by white fathers then specialized in ethnography, linguistics, literature and sociology, the journal passed over time to a committee of editorial staff composed of Tunisian academics and intellectuals. The journal works in the field of human and social sciences and literature applied to Tunisia, the Maghreb and Arabic-speaking countries with windows on other areas. IBLA publishes articles mainly in Arabic, French and English.
