Sana M’selmi

Sana M’selmiSana M’selmi PhD in General and Comparative Literature from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, currently assistant professor at the University of Jendouba. Author of a thesis on Desire and Change Imaginaries. Cross-Reading of Pedro Almodovar and Rachid Boudjedra’s Works. Her research focuses on the following areas: French-speaking, Arabic-speaking and Iberian. She is interested in intersecting poetics: interplay between literature, cinema, and the arts, literary and intercultural relations. The relation between aesthetic and ideology, function of art in contemporary society. Treatment of forms of “minorities”: Gender Studies, Western and Arab feminism. She is part of the editorial Board of two Journals TRANS- (Revue de littérature Générale et comparée de la Sorbonne Nouvelle) and IBLA.
