Nejmeddine Hentati

Nejmeddine Hentati, professor of higher education, at Ez-zitouna university. Graduated at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences in Tunis, he specializes in medieval history, particularly the evolution of legal schools in the Muslim West, through Maliki legal texts and the history of its cities. He is a member of the Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts Beït al-Hikma in Tunisia and the director of the laboratory "Religious Doctrines in Muslim Maghreb and the Science of Religions". He published several studies in international journals as well as books, namely: al-Madhhab al-mālikī bi-l-Gharb al-islāmī ilā muntaṣaf al-qarn 5 H/ 11 A.D. (Tunis 2004), some chapters were translated into Italian in the journal Etudes Arabes (Rome), 2007; Madīnat Tunis qabla al-cahd al-Hafṣī (Tunis, 2019); al-Fiqh al-ḥanafī bi-Ifrīqiya fī al-qarn 3 H/ 9 A.D. : Riwāyat Asad b. al-Furāt li-Kitāb al-Al can Muammad b. al-asan al-Shaybā, éd.
